Faith United Methodist Church offers a number of programs to help us grow not only in mind and spirit, but also in body. Consider joining one of our fitness-based ministries as we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, our soul, and our strength.
Faith Taekwondo
Taekwondo is the art of striking with the feet and hands. What sets it apart from other martial arts is its prominent use of the legs, as well as the emphasis on the moral and spiritual development of the student. Classes consist of physical conditioning and flexibility, basic techniques, self-defense, mental focus, mental/physical coordination, and mental/physical/spiritual balance.

Tae Kwon Do is one of the few sports that parents can participate in with their children, so we encourage the whole family, ages 8 and up to join our class. Students have the option to test for belt rank, upon completing requirements.

There are no fees for class participation (instruction is being donated) but there are fees for rank testing.
Taekwondo meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm.
Our kickboxing and cardio group gathers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-8pm.  Our time together features a high-energy workout backed by fun, heart-pumping music.
